Privacy Policy

Span collects no personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs of any kind. We do not build a profile of you, and we have nothing to sell or share, because we hold nothing.
What stays on your device
Everything you create in Span is stored locally on your device:
- Your campaign progress — levels completed and stars earned
- The bridges you design, saved per level
- Any levels you build in the level editor, and your saved shapes
- Your settings, such as language and display preferences
None of this is transmitted to us. We operate no server that receives your game data, and Span works fully offline.
iCloud sync
If you are signed in to iCloud, Span uses Apple's iCloud key-value storage to sync your campaign progress (levels completed and stars earned) between your own devices, and to restore it if you reinstall the app. This data travels between your devices and your private iCloud account. It is governed by Apple's privacy policy, and we cannot see it. If you are not signed in to iCloud, Span simply keeps your progress on the device.
Purchases
Span offers one optional in-app purchase, which unlocks the full game. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your name, payment card, or billing address. Apple tells the app only whether the purchase is valid, so it can unlock the content.
Photos
Span can export a video replay of your bridge. If — and only if — you choose "Save Video", the app asks for permission to add that video to your photo library. This permission is add-only: Span cannot read, browse, or upload your photos. If you never save a replay, the permission is never requested.
This website
Our web host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser user agent, page requested) for security and to keep the site running. These logs are not used to identify you, are not combined with anything from the app, and are not shared. There are no cookies, no analytics, and no trackers on this site.
Children
Span is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date. If a future version of Span were ever to collect data — which is not planned — we would update this page before that version shipped.
